About Feed the Bands!

Feed the Bands was founded by Ayla and Kristy. They came up with the idea after realizing that the bands they were going to see perform could barely afford things that are necessary for any touring band to make it, such as gas and hotel rooms. Ayla and Kristy didn't like the idea of the bands they were growing to love breaking up because of the lack of ability to support themselves on the road.

They decided together to start an organization dedicated to these bands, to the people that really love music but just simply don't have the monetary resources available to make it. They started giving gas cards and care packages to bands that they'd see, and the reactions they got were enough to convince them that yes, this had to happen.

You too can be a part of this organization by simply donating $1, or however much you please, so that they can continue to give bands the things they need on the road. You could also take care packages or things listed on the Bands page that our supported bands need to shows that you attend and let us know that you've helped the bands out.

Your support is key to not only our survival as an organization, but to all the fledgling bands out there that really need the help. It's amazing what a simple dollar can do to help out a band. Please, if you're able to help in any way, let us know. You can also help by spreading the word about us to your friends, other bands, or even other fans at shows you attend. Make sure to also put our banners on the Support page on your website. Help us grow so we can help your favorite bands grow to be the band they've always dreamed of being.
